not an alien?

If it isn't an alien then what falls from the sky into the ocean at the end of the movie while the couple were filming the ocean view from Cony Island? In the distance you see something (i assumed the monster) to the right of the screen near the end.

      It's a satellite dropped by a company,which wakes the monster.

no, the company did not purposely drop it, it was a peice of a satallite from the fake Japanese drilling company "Taragato" or something spelled like that, that fell out of orbit.Clover-is-my-Pet-27 02:49, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

Eats humans?

yes, that is true, but then again it's head was very small compared to it's body. then again Marlena was in shock and could have been seeing things or possibly talking about the parasites. not sure though. and according to what J.J. said somewhere (still looking for the link) that Hud was so small compared to "Clover" that he just opened his mouth cause he couldn't really "chew" hud cause of his size.Clover-is-my-Pet-27 02:49, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

Well, my friend and I were talking about this yesterday. I didn't attack Hud because it's a predatory monster. But, since it's still a baby, it figures, hey these little things are attacking me, oh look a little thing in front of me, if I don't hurt it, it will hurt me, might as well eat it. TheAlchemist

Continuing on with the it being just a baby, perhaps he was going through that teething stage? and just left the rest of Hud because he didn't think hud tasted good?

Ferris wheel

When they show Rob and Beth on the ferris wheel, the camera points out into the ocean, if you were paying close attention something crashed into the water from the right side into the screen to the ocean. It was a very tiny crash into the water, but I was not the only one in the theatre that noticed. (though a lot of people did not see it) -- User:Seigkun 7 February 2008

500ft tall?

That cant be right if its almost smaller than the statue of liberty. I mean godzilla at his tallest is 353 feet tall and I know clover is smaller. His parents are probably very tall. And if he can climb buildings like GINO hes probably as big as GINO. And GINO is small compared to Godzilla. So I think hes between 150-250 feet tall. SPARTAN-089 22:45, 9 February 2008 (UTC)

I don't think we should use the second one (jpizzle6298's one), as it puts him in a weird, almost human or dog position. The other two look good though --Lordofmonsterisland

"Hypothesis"

I would like to know other editor's opinion on the hypothesis that Dodoman1 submitted recently. In my opinion, such enormous essays are better off on the forums and not on the wiki, because people expect encyclopedic information from a wiki rather than "I saw this movie and it rocked so hard I got a million of ideas running through my head". Now, I don't mind Theories section in Parasites because they are short and they don't go too far interpreting. But this one... I would have removed it altogether but I respect the author's efforts so I decided to put it up for discussion before doing drastic things. --Koveras Alvane 21:21, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

- You were right to comment it out, in my opinion, though I do feel something like it has a place: I included a "biology" section of the page where a condensed and more tone-appropriate version of that theory is discussed. There is a significant desire to try to fit this creature into an evolutionary context, albeit in a less narrative and more encyclopedic way.

Upright

I just noticed (off my torrented version) that Clover can actually stand upright. When they were getting Beth out and they were walking across the roof once more. I looked at clover and it was walking on its hind legs and bumping into buildings while being bombed by the FA-/18s. Can we add that on there? SPARTAN-089 04:54, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

more than two monsters?

While watching the bridge scene after the tail smashes the bridge, if you look at the spot light of the heliocopter, there is something on the bridge. It is to small to be the monster or even a part of the monster because it was on the right side of the bridge in the water, and it can't be a parasite because it is to big. People have suspected it to be a part of the bridge but if you look how it moves you can tell it is not part of the bridge. When things fall, they do not move up. depiction

hey guys, im wondering, there has been some controversy over what the monster REALLY looks like. there are some that depict him as some sort of whale monster and others show him as a 4 legged monster that is pale with a face of a paranah. can someone just PLEASE tell me the real deal!?!?!?!?!?!
